Bar Louie

Love their burgers. The beef so juicy and bacon perfectly cooked with blue cheese and some garnish. So yummy! But I hate the flies coming at our table.

Ok, here is my review on Bar Louie. I was hired to DJ a surprise birthday there. l went the day before to go over details the day staff was very helpful. J Smith was very hands on with helping me make the start of the event a success. The wait staff was all over running back and forth to make sure everyone was taken care of from the appetizers to the beverages. The party was located in the patio area , which included over size games from Jenga, Connect 4 and Corn hole plus foosball. The bartenders seem like they enjoyed working there, a happy bartender equals fast service.

At first this review was going to be 4 stars, only because of the 30.06 sign at the door; but holy hell, is this place great. The music choice for the late evening was great, the food was incredible, and our server, Victor, was fantastic. Super polite and did an amazing job. Victor absolutely made the experience 5 star. I will absolutely be back. PS: the loaded tots are spectacular!

We walked in and figured that you seat yourself wherever you can find a table that's been cleaned off. After we found a table it took a long time to get our drink order in. We ordered appetizers which were just okay. I tried to give it a chance but service was spotty but the drinks were good. I really can't recommend this place, especially when they weren't busy that night. Sorry but it could have been better.

Bar Louie is never a disappointment! John always comes by and talks to me and my wife Emily, drinks are so good, plenty to chose from on draft, and a few locals as well. Pepperoni flatbread is my favorite. I love all the bartenders, especially Destiny, the staff is awesome and I’ll for sure keep coming back.

Great happy hour during the week - love the dirty martini and the buffalo chicken flatbread! The service is always great and the staff is super friendly and pretty consistent (not a lot of turnover, I love seeing the same faces behind the bar when I go in)

Had a great time here with my sister and the bartender who is a lady was so sweet. The guy was a bit rude but we can work past that... I'm sure he tries to work past it too. Liked this place. 👍

I came in last night (3/3/20) for burger night and it was amazing! I sat at the bar with Anthony one of my favorite Bartenders and he took great care of me per usual. Love the service, love the food, I will always be back.

Felton is a great bartender, always checks up on you. He makes me feel like I'm at home.

Marcus is one of the most knowledgeable bartenders I've ever met. I'm definitely coming every Monday to see him.

This bar is so nice and fun! Lots of games to play like corn hole and giant jenga. Street tacos and chicken & churros were delicious. Great place to go to for my birthday as they were even nice enough to give me a complimentary shot and the live band sang me happy birthday!

I came in on Thursday for happy hour, I fell in love with this place! Destiny and Anthony are very attentive and my burger was delicious, tots were crispy and delicious as well. Very happy with this place. I think I’ve found my new bar.

Bar Louie is a fun and lots of games to play with friends and family. Connect 4 and Jenga, if you are looking for a venue to host a party, this place has got the atmosphere and room. The garage style windows are a plus when the weather is nice.

The Best place in town we had the voodoo pasta and the buffalo.chicken tattoos which were fabulous. Ask for Liz and Crystal. They hit it out the park.

First time having dinner here and it was great!

I didn't get a drink, but the flavors of the good were weak. The fish needed salt and the music was louder than was pleasant, but or waiter was nice and the food came fairly prompt. Not a lot of presentation.

Always a positive experience. Had the chili yesterday and cornbread. Not what I expected to see on menu but I enjoyed it!

The Philly burger was so good, ate it before I was able to take a pic. Had no leftovers! that's a first for me.

What a hidden gem. Located in a new shopping complex in South Garland. The atmosphere is cool. The door greeter always welcomed you with a smile. Have the ID ready at the door. They have decent drink and food pricing as well as being spacious. On some nights there's a love DJ in the front. I love this place because they also have large games like corn hole, connect 4 and Jenga.. Though it's 20 minutes from my home it's a nice change of pace and great for large parties and gatherings.

Love the happy hour and atmosphere. They change the beers from time to time so it is nice to get a different taste every once in a while. There is always a local Texas beer on tap which I LOVE. I must recommend the tempura shrimp! I am obssesed with the sauces that come with. My favorite martini is the Effen Good, self explanatory, but I'll add that it tastes like summer. The bartender Airron is WONDERFUL! Will always put a smile on your face!

Never had a bad experience here. Love it and keep coming back. It's the only bar that I will go to alone if no one is available to hang out with me. Excellent food and service. Outstanding drink selection. I'll keep coming back until I die.

$5 burger Tuesdays are my Fave! You can’t beat that! Love wings...? Must give these a try, I promise you will not be disappointed! Space is very open and chill. Great for a drink, date or small gathering.

1st time eating at Bar Louie! We had breakfast, I can't wait to go back for lunch and dinner! The breakfast was really good.

Great environment to chill and have a good time. Not to many places have a late night happy hour. Great food and great staff.

The flatbread pizza was outstanding.This place has a nice atmosphere and we had a very good waiter.

Some of the best bar food and drink specials around DFW and on the weekends they have live djs and it kinda turns into a dance club!!

This place never fails to deliver. They serve fantastic dishes for affordable rates, there no long wait even when the place is loaded.

We liked it. Beer was cold, the pot stickers are great, and loved the flat beads!

Came at happy hour on a Friday night and we had to wait over 30 minutes for service only to be passed over for service by several servers for another 30 minutes. Surprising that such a hopping place wouldn’t have enough servers to take care of their patrons. Won’t be back.

The Diva drink was sweet and smooth to drink! I’d have it again. The churro Desert was good. The live band was fun to listen to.

Had an afternoon drink with my daugther. The beer was cold and the drinks were great. The fish and chips were hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and smoked. The appreciated your business. Great Friday after work place to relax. Second visit here. Staff is wonderful. The food was fresh and the drinks were cold. Everything was organized and clean. The restrooms were really clean with no graffiti. A welcome touch. Price is reasonable. Will come back again. Parking can be difficult on the weekends.

We had great wait staff and scrumpsh food and extra cold beverages. The location has really improved from a few years ago. It's really a night and day difference. They must have changed management.
